    Just found a deal at Misco for an Asus Eee PC.  For only £172.49 you can get your hands on the Asus Eee PC 701SC, including vat and delivery.  - Notebook PC, which includes: 

    • Intel® Celeron M 353 Processor
    • 1GB DDR2 RAM / 8GB Solid State Drive
    • Wifi / Wireless
    • Integrated - 0.3 Megapixel
    • 7 inches, weighing only 0.92kg
    • Linux

    But there are loads of other netbooks on the market, is this a good deal?
    Yes, if you're looking for a netbook with a slightly bigger amount of power, you'd have to pay another £100.   This Asus machine has everything you need to work, surf and communicate on the move.

    Is it hard to learn Linux?No.  Linux is really easy to use, there is virutally no learning neaded with the specially designed, user-friendly and intuitive graphic interface.  Everything you need out of an operating system is installed and ready to use, for example Connect to the internet and share photos with friends and family takes just a few clicks.   That said, if you're still longing for windows, then install windows XP on the machine is a simple task.  

    Are these small machines easy to break?
    Most netbooks are incredibly tough and can withstand almost all bump and shocks and with the machines solid state drive, you can be confident that you will not lose any data EVER!  It is also worth nothing that Asus have been making them the longest they have ironed out any technical and strength issues.
